Typology of seasonal migrant workers based on Risk behaviors in Tehran: a qualitative study

Abstract

The present study examined the condition of seasonal migrant workers in Tehran and the typology of them in terms of risky behavior and social pathology. The research method is qualitative methods (case study). findings indicated that seasonal workers in terms of general features such as nutrition, sleep , rest and revenues are in poor condition, the typology of seasonal workers in terms of risky behavior and social pathology showed Seasonal workers could be classified as following groups: at risk group, vulnerable group  and trouble making group.
