[English]

The contemporary landscape grapples with the intricate tapestry of identity, presenting formidable challenges that obstruct the pursuit of societal stability and tranquility. As the paradigm of security evolves beyond its erstwhile government-centric framework, a broader, more inclusive conception has emerged, prompting a fundamental reassessment of perceived threats and their requisite solutions. This article posits that while group identities—spanning religious, ethnic, national, linguistic, and sexual orientations—should not inherently serve as catalysts for a "security crisis," their politicization assumes a pivotal role in fomenting societal discord. Rather than the identities themselves posing inherent threats, it is the strategic manipulation and politicization of these identities that engender turbulence within societies.

Central to this exploration is the theory of "relative deprivation," which illuminates the pivotal role of perceived disparities between groups in societal dynamics. This theory elucidates how disparities in perceived resources, opportunities, or recognition can sow seeds of discontent and drive social tensions. The study meticulously examines the profound impact of this phenomenon on the fabric of social security.

In delineating the correlation between the politicization of group identities and the ensuing ramifications on social stability, this research underscores how such politicization becomes a potent catalyst, undermining the cohesive fabric of society at various levels—be it within local communities, regional landscapes, or the global sphere. Understanding the intricacies of this relationship is imperative for formulating strategies aimed at fortifying societal cohesion and resilience against burgeoning security threats.
