The issue of adoption in the families of spinal cord amputation veterans due to disability, incapacity or sexual impotence is a very important issue. It seems natural that the lived experience of these children is different and distinct compared to normal children in various fields, therefore their situation and narration of such a situation, how to cope with it, is the main question of this research. Understanding and receiving such an experience, according to the topic, purpose and practical view of the research, requires the adoption of a suitable method under the title of "Descriptive Phenomenology" method. Collecting information and data until reaching a kind of verifiability through theoretical saturation with a targeted method, an in-depth and semi-structured interview has been conducted with 10 of these people.
The results of the research show that the interviewees' narratives of their lived experience can be classified and conceptualized in three general and central categories: "identification", "family relations" and "type of community encounter". In the field of identification, some have easily come to terms with their adoption situation (acceptance). Some others had severe conflicts with some kind of ambiguity in this field (ambiguity) and some are in the middle of the two (ambivalence). In the field of "family relations", they have had the most challenges in interactions with close relatives (kinship challenge). In the end, they faced the least challenges regarding their interaction with the society (social connection).
