Divorce can be studied from different aspect. One of them is gender which is included man and womanhood. Men studies show that manhood is a constructed element which does need to acquire and hold. Every changes in family regulation or its dissolution can put manhood in crisis. This study has been conducted in narrative analysis with 23 participant with at least one experience of marriage and divorce. The result has showed that there are three stages between marriage and divorce: un-calm entrance, hazard continues and full of tension exit. Men understand divorce unclear and have no bright explanation for that. Identity changes in women has affected men cause they no longer see them as a familiar other but consider them as a stranger which make difficult to form manhood/ husband identity around them.
